Q: What are Hot Monkey Nuts and how are they different than regular nuts?
A: Hot Monkey Nuts are a spicy peanut snack available in 9 awesome flavors. They are different than regular nuts because these peanuts will deliver a taste explosion you've only been dreaming of.

A: YES, ALL of our products contain PEANUTS and PEANUT OIL.
Q: What are Monkey Nuts?
A: In Britain, peanuts in the shell are called monkey nuts. We picked the name 'Hot Monkey Nuts' BEFORE knowing this fact, so it's kinda coincidental :-P
Q: Are peanuts healthy for you?
A: Peanuts are a very healthy snack. Peanuts are rich in monounsaturated fats, the type of fat that is emphasized in the heart-healthy Mediterranean diet. Peanuts are good sources of vitamin E, niacin, folate, protein and manganese. In addition, peanuts provide resveratrol, the phenolic antioxidant also found in red grapes and red wine that is thought to be responsible for the French paradox: the fact that in France, people consume a diet that is not low in fat, but have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease compared to the U.S.
Q: Are your ingredients genetically modified?
A: No. We do not use GMO ingredients.
Q: What type of hot peppers do you use?
A: We primarily use the Jalapeño or Habanero pepper to provide the heat, but also use Ghost Pepper, Scorpion Pepper and Carolina Reaper in our VERY HOT! and INSANE! flavors
Q: What type of oil is in your products?
A: Our nuts come roasted with either peanut oil or canola oil.
Q: Are you Gluten-Free or Kosher?
A: We are currently Gluten Free and Non-GMO but are not currently Kosher.
Q: Do real monkeys love nuts?
A: They will eat nuts, but truly love ripe fruit.
Q: Will you ever produce products that are peanut-free?
A: It is our goal to provide other types of snacks in the future, such as trail mix, and we'll let you know when that happens! Unfortunately, if you are worried about allergies, most nuts are processed in the same facility with other nuts.
Q: Is there any meaning behind your logo?
A: Well, it's literally fiery-haired (HOT)…(MONKEY) with a pea(NUT) nose. We thought it completely embodies our company's tone-slightly silly, but super cool. There IS meaning to the 6 flames in the monkey's hair. We are a family of 6, so one flame per person. BTW...his name is George Douglas Monkey, but that story is for another time!
